Gyanvapi Case: The Allahabad High Court once again heard the case related to the demand for the survey of the wazukhana located in the disputed Gyanvapi complex of Varanasi by the Archaeological Survey of India on Tuesday. Arguments were presented by the Hindu side in today's hearing. In the hearing, the Hindu side said that the survey of the wazukhana is very important to determine the religious character of the disputed complex. It was said that except the Shivling, the rest of the wazukhana should also be surveyed.

On Tuesday, the Hindu side argued in the court that the High Court had ordered carbon dating of the alleged Shivling last year, which was stayed by the Supreme Court. It was argued that in that petition, there was a demand for a survey of the Shivling, while in this petition of Rakhi Singh, there is a demand for a survey of the rest of the Wazukhana except the Shivling. On this, the court asked the petitioner's advocate Saurabh Tiwari to present a copy of the old petition.

One week's time
Petitioner's advocate Saurabh Tiwari demanded a few days' time on this. The High Court has given one week's time to file the papers. The High Court will now hear this case on October 1 at 2 pm. The case is being heard in a single bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Agarwal. In this case, the Intezamia Committee of Gyanvapi Mosque has already filed its reply last month. In the affidavit of the mosque committee, it has been recommended to reject this application of Rakhi Singh.

It was said on behalf of the mosque committee that the Supreme Court has ordered to keep the Wazukhana complex completely protected. In such a situation, no survey can be done at that place. The decision of the Varanasi District Court in this regard is completely correct and Rakhi Singh's petition should be rejected. Senior advocate Syed Farman Abbas Naqvi is presenting arguments on behalf of the Intezamia Committee of Gyanvapi Mosque, while Saurabh Tiwari is arguing on behalf of the Hindu side.

Scientific survey is demanded
. This revision petition has been filed in the High Court by Rakhi Singh, the main plaintiff in the Shringar Gauri case. Through this petition, a demand has been made to get the scientific survey of the wazukhana done by the Archaeological Survey of India like the rest of the Gyanvapi complex. It has been said that the survey agency can conduct the survey without damaging the alleged Shivling found in the wazukhana. The survey report can prove to be very important in the settlement of the Shringar Gauri case going on in the district court of Varanasi. Many symbols of Hindus can also be found from the part of the wazukhana.

The Wazukhana was sealed after the alleged Shivling was found during the Advocate Commission in May 2022. The Wazukhana was sealed on the orders of the Civil Judge Senior Division of Varanasi. The Supreme Court has also ordered to preserve the alleged Shivling. The Archaeological Survey of India has surveyed the entire part of the Gyanvapi complex except the Wazukhana last year. Claims are being made of finding many symbols of Hindus in the survey.
