News Topical, Digital Desk : Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir has reiterated his anti-India rhetoric, saying Kashmir is not India's internal matter. It is an unfinished international agenda. As Quaid-e-Azam had said, Kashmir is Pakistan's jugular vein.
Addressing Pakistani expatriates in Florida, Munir boasted that during the recent conflict with India, Pakistan responded with firmness and strength. Islamabad made it clear that any Indian aggression would be met with a befitting reply. Even a few weeks before the Pahalgam attack, Munir had said that Pakistan would not forget the Kashmir issue.
India gave a befitting reply
He had insisted that it is our jugular vein. However, his comments were rejected by India. The Ministry of External Affairs had said that how can a foreign thing be a jugular vein? It is a union territory of India. Its only concern with Pakistan is that it should vacate the areas illegally occupied by it.
In his speech to the Pakistani community, Munir said that his second visit to the US after a gap of one and a half months will add a new dimension to Pakistan-US relations. The aim of these visits is to take the relations in a constructive, sustainable and positive direction.
Islamabad is extremely grateful to President Donald Trump who has prevented a war between India and Pakistan as well as many other wars around the world. Munir said the trade deal with the US is expected to attract large scale investments and Pakistan has achieved significant successes on the international relations front.
