An Indian naval ship collided with a fishing vessel named Marthoma 70 nautical miles off the Goa coast on Thursday evening, the Indian Navy said. According to Indian Navy officials, there were 13 crew members on board the fishing vessel Marthoma at the time of the collision.
Search and rescue efforts were immediately launched by the Indian Navy, and so far 11 crew members have been recovered. The search operation for the remaining two is ongoing. Additional assets have been rushed to the area to enhance the efforts, officials said.
