Lucknow News Today: There was an encounter between the Malihabad police and the criminals in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The continuous firing by the criminals caused a sensation in the area. In the retaliatory firing by the police personnel, a criminal got shot in his leg and was injured. 

The police have arrested the criminal injured in the encounter and admitted him to the hospital for treatment. ADCP West Vishwajeet Srivastava said that on Thursday (3 October) night, Malihabad police received information about the criminals. 

'The miscreants had planned to slaughter cows'
ADCP West Vishwajeet Srivastava said that the police had received information that some miscreants were planning to slaughter cows near Badhi Garhi village. After this information, Malihabad police became alert. 

After this, the team of Inspector-in-Charge Malihabad and the Crime Team of Western Zone started checking. During this time, while checking near Badi Garhi village, the police team saw a car coming. When the police tried to stop the car, the criminals sitting inside came out and started firing indiscriminately. 

The miscreant was injured by the police bullet. 
Malihabad and Western police also fired back. In the retaliatory action of the police, a miscreant was shot in the leg and fell down. The rest of the miscreants managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of the darkness. The injured miscreant has been identified as Ishtiyak son Abbas resident of Jhabaniya police station Sandila Hardoi.

According to the police, on September 30, an incident of cow slaughter took place near Kanar village of the police station area. This injured criminal was wanted in this incident. A 315 bore pistol, a large number of empty cartridges and live cartridges have been recovered from the possession of the injured criminal.

These things have been recovered along with the car
. Police have recovered a car from the possession of the arrested criminal. A chisel, axe, knife and screwdriver have also been recovered from this car. ADCP West Vishwajeet Srivastava said that necessary legal action is being taken against the accused criminal, while the search for other absconding criminals is on.
