When is Pradosh fast?

The first Pradosh of Bhadrapada month is on 20th August. This festival is celebrated on Trayodashi Tithi. Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month will start on 20th August at 01:58 pm. Whereas, it will end on 21st August at 12:44 pm. Shiva-Shakti is worshipped during Pradosh Kaal on Trayodashi Tithi. For this, Pradosh Vrat will be observed on Wednesday, 20th August.

The auspicious time for worship during Pradosh Kaal on Budha Pradosh Vrat is from 06:56 pm to 09:07 pm. Devotees can worship Lord Mahadev and Goddess Parvati of the world by taking bath and meditating at the time of their convenience. At the same time, worship and Aarti of Mahadev must be done during Pradosh Kaal.
