Dhirendra Shastri on Railway Station Name: Discussion has intensified regarding changing the name of the railway station located near Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. The demand to change the name of Dariya Ganj railway station has started gaining momentum. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, famous as Bageshwar Sarkar, has demanded to change the name of this station to Bageshwar Dham.

Talking to the media in Chhatarpur, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri said about changing the name of the station, "We have already submitted a letter in this regard and this is an administrative matter. The administration has its own understanding. We do not have that much reach, so it would be good if our point reaches out through the media. 

Demand to name the station after Bageshwar Dham

He further said, "We believe that most of the devotees who come there are from Bageshwar Dham. We feel that the railway station is especially for Bageshwar Dham. The people living nearby are getting the name but 80 percent of the devotees who get down there are from Bageshwar Dham. If the station is named after Bageshwar Dham, then we feel that it will create harmony among the people and the Dham will be glorified all over the world."

Dariya Ganj was renamed as Daryaganj

At the same time, there is a controversy regarding the change of name of the railway station located near Bageshwar Dham. Actually, the Indian Railways has changed the name of 'Daria Ganj' station located near Bageshwar Dham to Dariya Ganj. Local people are protesting against this issue. People believe that the name of the railway station being changed from Duriya Ganj to Dariya Ganj is an Islamic name.
