Dengue: Dengue cases have started increasing in the capital Lucknow. On Sunday, 21 patients were found in Lucknow, which is the highest number of patients this year. Talking about January to August, 103 cases of dengue were found in Lucknow. In the month of September, from September 1 to September 22, 181 patients of dengue have been found, in which the highest number of patients were found on the 22nd. Out of these, about 50 patients are currently admitted in the hospital.

Last month, only three to four patients were found to be affected by dengue daily, but on Sunday, a big increase was seen in it. In the last 24 hours, 21 marriages have been found dengue positive. Four of them have been admitted to the hospital due to low platelet count. Most of these cases are from Gosaiganj, Mall, Chinhat, Alambagh, Indira Nagar and Gomti Nagar Extension area.

100 beds reserved in hospitals
In view of the increasing outbreak of dengue, the health department is spraying anti-larvae as well as fogging in different areas. To deal with dengue, more than 100 beds have also been reserved in government hospitals and their number can be increased if needed. In this, 30-30 beds have been reserved in Civil and Balrampur hospitals.

20 beds have been reserved in Lok Bandhu Hospital, while 10 beds each have been reserved in Ramsagar Mishra and Rani Laxmibai Hospital. A rapid increase in dengue and malaria cases is also being seen in Noida. The district health department is further strengthening its preparations to deal with any situation. 

According to the district health department, the number of dengue and malaria patients increases during the rainy season. In view of the increasing number of malaria-dengue patients, beds have been specially reserved in hospitals. Special camps are being set up in all sectors and rural areas of Noida. Along with this, people are being instructed to prevent dengue-malaria and as soon as fever or any other problem appears, they should immediately get admitted to the hospital.
