Uttar Pradesh News Today: Noida has established new dimensions of development in the last few years. From April 2025, Noida's development will get new wings, the reason for this is that before 17 April 2025, flights will start from Noida International Airport and the start of this airport will accelerate development not only in Noida but also in the surrounding districts.
In view of this, the Uttar Pradesh government has approved the planning to build a New Noida on the lines of Noida. After this, the discussion about 'New Noida' has intensified. People are eager to know many things like transport, connectivity to other places, industry in 'New Noida'. Let's know what will be special in 'New Noida'?
How big will 'New Noida' be?
Let us tell you, 'New Noida' will be settled on about 209.11 square kilometers i.e. 20911.29 hectares of land. There is a plan to settle New Noida as Dadri- Noida Ghaziabad Investment Region. To settle this city, land of 20 villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar and 40 villages of Bulandshahr will be acquired.
These villages have also been notified by the Uttar Pradesh government. The New Noida 2041 Master Plan has been prepared by the Noida Authority from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA). This plan was approved by the Noida Authority in the 210th board meeting held in September 2023.
'New Noida' got approval
after which some objections were also raised on it, after amendment it was sent to the government for approval on 12 January 2024. The government gave its approval, after which the way for the settlement of New Noida was cleared. For this, a guideline will soon be issued by the Uttar Pradesh government regarding land acquisition and acquisition policy.
Under the DNGIR (Dadri Noida Ghaziabad Investment Region) Master Plan 2041, 40 percent of the land will be used for industrial units. Apart from this, 13 percent of the land will be used for residential plots, while 18 percent of the land will be used for green areas and recreational purposes.
Who got how much land?
20911.29 hectares of land will be acquired to develop the city of 'New Noida'. Out of which industrial units will be set up in 8420.92 hectares of land. Apart from 1370.10 hectares for UPSIDA, there is a plan to set up industrial area in 6885.59 hectares and mixed industry in 165.22 hectares.
Similarly, 2810.54 hectares of land has been earmarked for residential, 849.97 hectares for commercial, 1739.93 hectares for PSP Industry and 195.97 hectares for facility or utility along with 1792.26 hectares for Green Park.
Under the plan, 1432.73 hectares of land has been earmarked for green belt and buffer. Apart from this, 530.22 hectares of land will be used for recreation and 122.77 hectares of land for water body. 2963.61 hectares of land has been earmarked to improve traffic
and transportation.
Under this, 'New Noida' will be developed in four phases. The first phase of 'New Noida' will be completed by 2023-2027, the second phase by 2027-2032 and the third phase by 2032-2037. The final phase of developing 'New Noida' will be completed in 2037-2041.
Hundreds of villages will get a new flight.
After getting the approval of the master plan, Noida Authority will soon start working on it. It is believed that when flights start from Noida International Airport in April 2025 , this master plan will also get wings. After which hundreds of villages of Bulandshahr and Gautam Buddha Nagar will also get a new flight of development.
