UP Weather News: Uttar Pradesh is experiencing severe cold along with cold wave. The temperature in most districts of the state has dropped below 10 degrees Celsius. The situation is likely to remain the same for the next few days. In view of this, CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed the health department to remain alert. He has also appealed to the people in view of the Maha Kumbh.
CM Yogi posted on social media and wrote, 'Dear people of the state! Cold wave is blowing in the state. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. Take special care of children, elderly and people suffering from serious diseases. The health system has been instructed to remain alert for good medical facilities, easy testing and easy availability of medicines in all government hospitals.'
The Chief Minister further wrote in his post, ‘I have also directed the team of the Health Department to provide proper medical assistance to the revered saints, pilgrims, Kalpvasis and devotees visiting Maha Kumbh-2025, Prayagraj. Along with a clean and well-organized Maha Kumbh, your safety is our top priority and commitment.’
Good medical facilities should be available - CM
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to make strong arrangements to ensure the health safety of the general public during the cold season. In an important meeting with senior officials on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that there is severe cold weather in the entire state. There is a possibility of increase in the number of patients suffering from cold, cough and respiratory problems. In such a situation, the health system needs to be alert.
The Chief Minister directed that patients should get good medical facilities in all government hospitals. Be it tests or availability of medicines, everything should be perfect. The common man should not have to face any problems. While reviewing the health and medical facilities of pilgrims in Maha Kumbh, the Chief Minister said that there should be proper arrangements for treatment in all sectors. Ambulance facility should be available. He said that to provide assistance to the sick people, the health department team should continuously visit all sectors and take care of the people, and if needed, they should be provided proper medical assistance.
