Islamabad. Bushra Bibi, wife of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, has approached the Islamabad High Court in the un-Islamic marriage case. Actually, Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan were found guilty in the Iddat case, due to which Imran Khan and his wife Adiala are in jail. Bushra Bibi has objected to a petition filed with the aim of stopping their sentence and ensuring their release on bail.

While waiting for the judge's decision, both Bibi and her husband had protested their sentence in the sessions court. Now seeking justice, they have appealed to the court to hear their petition soon. During the hearing conducted by Judge Majuka on June 7, the court adjourned the case till July 11.
When will the hearing take place?
Let us tell you that the hearing is going to resume on June 11. He filed the petition through his lawyer Salman Safdar. According to the petition, the hearing on his appeal against the sentence is pending. The petition states, 'In the interest of justice, it is necessary to take a decision soon on the suspension of the sentence of the petitioner (Bushra).'
They were sentenced to seven years of imprisonment each in February. A lower court had found their Nikaah to be fake. Bushra's ex-husband had challenged their marriage in court, saying it was done during their Iddat period. He says they had done Nikaah during Iddat period, immediately after the divorce
Following the court's verdict, both filed appeals in the district and sessions court. However, the case was transferred to Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majooka after Maneka expressed no confidence in Judge Shahrukh Arjumand.
