Varanasi. In view of the increasing crowd in the new and magnificent Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, now Kashi residents will be allowed to enter from a special gate. Only Kashi residents will enter from this gate. This facility is going to be available before the beginning of the month of Sawan.
Administrative preparations have almost been completed. The enlightened people of Kashi have been demanding for a long time that separate arrangements should be made for the people of Kashi to have darshan of Baba. The government and administration were also in the mood to approve it, but it was postponed due to the code of conduct imposed during the elections. Now its preparations are complete.
It is being told that new alternative gates can be opened from Bansphatak and Manikarnika side. Considering the security arrangements, its decision will be possible in the security committee meeting. There is also talk of fixing time in two to three shifts for the people of Kashi to visit.
Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said that there are preparations to provide separate entry for Kashi residents in Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. There are preparations to start this before the month of Saawan. This will be placed in the security committee meeting.
There is full hope of it being approved. Now under the new system, Kashi residents and regular visitors will be able to reach Baba Darbar and mark their attendance by standing in a separate line.
