Bharat Electronics Limited has secured the contract for Ashwin Radar for the Air Force. The Defense Ministry gave this information on Wednesday. According to the information given by the ministry, under Atmanirbhar Bharat, a contract has been signed with BEL for the supply of low-level transportable radar i.e. Ashwin Radar for the Indian Air Force. This radar has been developed by DRDO. Ashwini radar is a very modern radar and is capable of tracking fast flying fighter planes as well as slow flying UAVs and helicopters.
