New Delhi: Describing the present time as very crucial for Indian industries, Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has asked them to change their size and scale. Citing the stability and continuity in policies in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as the unprecedented work done in all sectors, Shah said that this is the time to make Indian companies global and for this the entire ecosystem in the country and the world is ready.
Comparing the 10 years of UPA and NDA government, he said that not a single allegation of corruption has been leveled against the Modi government. Shah said in the annual convention of PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry that in the last 10 years, Narendra Modi has been successful in establishing the politics of performance by taking the country out of the policy paralysis of the Manmohan government.
'The shaky economy was turned into a shining economy'
According to him, Prime Minister Modi, who has a wonderful combination of vision, experience and commitment, has formulated policies to make India the best in the world in all fields and has freed such a big country from many problems. According to him, today there is no such area where permanent peace has not been created. Through his work, Modi has transformed India's faltering economy during the Manmohan government into a shining economy of the world. The Modi government has put an end to policy paralysis and brought India to the top five economies.
In a session on 'Developed India @ 2047: Moving towards the summit of progress', Shah said that in the last 10 years, work has been done to strengthen developed India and the coming 25 years will be of rapid development in all areas. In this regard, he gave details of the achievements of the Modi government in the field of infrastructure, education, manufacturing, research, emerging technology, deep sea to space and green technology.
'Country with double digit growth'
The Home Minister said that 10 years ago India was a country with double digit inflation, but now it has become a country with double digit growth. He said that before 2014, 80 crore people of the country were dependent on basic necessities and their contribution to the economy was very less.
He said that the Modi government has worked to connect them to the mainstream of the economy by providing them basic amenities like house, toilet, electricity, water, treatment, food grains etc. for free. Because of this, India has been successful in becoming a market of 130 crore people. He said that taking advantage of this opportunity, our chambers and industries should take a decision to establish India's dominance worldwide.
