UP Politics: Rakesh Pratap Singh, rebel MLA of Samajwadi Party from Gauriganj seat of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh, has started a padyatra (foot march) to Ayodhya Dham. Earlier on Sunday evening at 6 o'clock, the SP MLA first reached his native village Mau where he started this journey from his residence. He took blessings from his parents and then visited Kuldevi Maa. 

Rakesh Pratap Singh has also shared the pictures of starting his padyatra on social media. Along with which he wrote- 'After receiving the blessings of respected mother-father and Kuldevi from my personal residence in my birthplace village assembly Mau, I started the "Shri Ram Padyatra" from 6:00 pm.' The SP MLA had announced to start the padyatra with Ram devotees a few days ago. 

This padyatra of SP MLA to Ayodhya Dham will start from November 11 and will be 108 kms from Gauriganj. Rakesh Pratap Singh will reach Ayodhya Dham from Gauriganj along with his colleagues and party workers. After which he will visit Lord Ramlala in Ram Mandir. 

According to Rakesh Pratap Singh's Shri Ram Padyatra
program, on November 11, the SP MLA will walk from Gauriganj to Musafirkhana, after which he will rest here in the evening, after which he will walk from here the next day to Milkipur on November 12. After this, the next stop of his journey on November 13 will be Saket Mahavidyalaya in Ayodhya, where he will rest. On November 14, he will visit Ramlala with his supporters and Ram devotees.

After visiting the Ram temple, Rakesh Pratap Singh will leave for Gauriganj by bus with his supporters. He has called upon all the people and families of his constituency to join his padyatra. It is believed that a large number of people can participate in this yatra with him. 

The SP MLA says that he wanted to go to Ayodhya at the time of the inauguration of the temple. He had also proposed to all the MLAs in the assembly that they should collectively go to Ayodhya and have darshan of Ram Lalla. But after receiving orders from the party president, he did not go. He did not visit the Ram temple following the instructions of the party high command , but now he will visit Ram Lalla while doing a padyatra.
