Apart from Sector-151 and 150, farm houses have been submerged in other places. More than 14 villages of the district are affected by the floods. At present, the administration has asked the people to remain alert.
Due to the rising water level of the Yamuna river, the risk of floods is increasing in the villages of Jewar, Rabupura and Dankaur. In such a situation, 35 people trapped in the flood-affected areas of the border state adjoining Thana Dankaur and Knowledge Park area have been rescued and taken to a safe place. At the same time, people are taking their essential goods and livestock to safe places.
People were asked to move to safer places
In order to make people vacate their houses and go to safer places, Dankaur Police Station and Knowledge Park Police Station, with the help of NDRF, rescued 35 people trapped in the flood affected areas of the border state and took them to safer places.
Due to the rising water level of the Yamuna river, the Police Department has been coordinating with other concerned departments and people residing in the areas affected by the rising water level of the Yamuna river are continuously taking their essential goods, livestock, cow sheds to safe places.
The police administration is constantly inspecting
Apart from this, all the top police officials are themselves visiting the areas around the Yamuna river and are constantly monitoring the situation in collaboration with the concerned departmental officials.
At the same time, the administration is constantly explaining to the people that they should not go to the flooded areas of Yamuna river or its surrounding areas unnecessarily and keep themselves and their families safe by following the warnings and instructions issued by the administration.
