Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman and MP Gauhar Khan has been arrested by police. He was arrested near the National Assembly in Islamabad late on Monday night after a raid.

A day earlier, PTI workers and leaders had taken out a rally in Islamabad demanding the release of Imran Khan. Many PTI leaders were arrested
According to a report in Pakistani newspaper Dawn, a police official has confirmed that PTI leaders Barrister Gohar, Sher Afzal Khan Marwat and others were arrested by Islamabad police outside Parliament on Monday night. Islamabad police spokesman Jawad Taqi informed that Marwat, Shoaib Shaheen and Barrister Gohar have been arrested.
I will not compromise on my struggle: Imran Khan
Imprisoned Imran Khan said on Sunday that he is ready to spend his entire life in jail but will not compromise on his struggle for true freedom. Imran was arrested on August 5 last year after being convicted in the Toshakhana corruption case. Since then he has been in jail in various cases.
