Dhaka: Troubles have increased for former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In fact, the International Crimes Tribunal of Bangladesh has started investigating charges of genocide and crimes against humanity against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and nine others.

Hasina has been charged with incidents that took place during the student movement between July 15 and August 5. Let us tell you that the interim government of Bangladesh had announced that the cases related to the murders that took place between July 1 and August 5 will be heard in the International Crimes Tribunal.

Their names are included in the complaint

On Wednesday, a complaint was filed against Sheikh Hasina and several other leaders of her party. Apart from Sheikh Hasina, the complaint includes the names of Awami League general secretary and former road transport and bridge minister Obaidul Quader, former home minister Asad-uz-Zaman Khan Kamal and several other prominent party leaders.

Tribunal inquiry begins

The International Crimes Tribunal has started investigating the case from Wednesday night. Apart from the Awami League, the names of its affiliated organizations are also included in the complaint. This was confirmed by the complainant's lawyer Gazi MH Tamim.

The father of the ninth class student filed a petition

According to the 'Dhaka Tribune' newspaper, this petition has been filed by Bulbul Kabir, father of ninth grade student Arif Ahmed Siam. Let us tell you that Arif died during the anti-reservation student movement. In the petition, Sheikh Hasina and others are accused of taking violent action against the student movement.
