News Topical, Digital Desk : Mangala Patankar, the daughter and mother-in-law of Sachin Jadhav of Kolhapur, were also held hostage in a kidnapping purportedly related to an audition at RA Studios in Mumbai's Powai area. Mangala Patankar is undergoing treatment at Nirali Hospital in Powai. Her condition is stable and she will be discharged soon. The victim recounted the horrific story of her kidnapping. Police have also recorded Mangala Patankar's statement.

Sachin Jadhav told ABP News, "We came from Kolhapur. My daughter is a child artist, and we were informed through school that a web series was being shot that needed some child actors, so we came here. The shooting had been going on for the past five days, when suddenly yesterday he took us hostage. We asked what we wanted, and he said he wanted one or two crore rupees."

The hostage woman told the entire story of the kidnapping

Sachin Jadhav's mother-in-law, Mangala Patankar, told ABP News, "We came from Kolhapur. The shooting had been going on for four days. Rohit Arya was talking nicely. I was eating laddus, and he said, 'Aunty, please give me some too.' Yesterday (October 30th), he told the children's parents that they were going to shoot a kidnapping and running scene. Rohit had brought kerosene cans and firecrackers. He said he had brought them for the scene. The day before yesterday, he turned off the CCTV cameras to install lights, and replaced them with lights."

'Rohit Arya had a gun in his hand'

He said, "The children were saying he had a gun in his hand and was repeatedly showing it. He took four children upstairs, closed the shutter, and put two large locks on it. He put a banner inside the shutter and sealed it so that no one could come in or out. He always made me and the others sit outside the studio; yesterday he didn't let anyone sit outside."

Took me and the kids to the studio – Patankar

Mangala Patankar also said, "On Thursday (October 30), he took me and the children to the studio and told us not to let them go anywhere and to keep an eye on them. He took the children inside in small groups and told them to be careful as he was filming, but he wasn't filming. After a while, he told me to come upstairs with the other children; my granddaughter was among them."

Big claim of the victim woman

The victim further claimed, "A black man and his entire team were involved with Rohit Arya. I asked a girl named Priyanka why people were shouting downstairs. She said a shooting was underway. I think she was involved too. A tall, broad man was filming; he looked like he was, but he wasn't. He just told the children to play and asked what kind of shooting it was."
