News Topical, Digital Desk : A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Mahoba district, Uttar Pradesh, where a mother's funeral procession began before her daughter's wedding. In Makarbai village, under the Kabrai police station area, mourning suddenly erupted amid wedding preparations. A mother, about to offer her beloved daughter's first wedding invitation card to God, was struck by a train and died.
The family was devastated by the accident, and no one could believe that the house, once filled with joy, was now filled with mourning. Police have sent the body for post-mortem examination and have begun an investigation.
Usha Singh was busy with her daughter's wedding.
According to reports, 42-year-old Usha Singh, wife of Dhirendra Singh, a resident of Makarbai village, was busy preparing for her 21-year-old daughter Sapna's wedding. Sapna's wedding was scheduled for April 28th. There was excitement at home, and the wedding cards had already been printed. According to Hindu tradition, the first invitation to any auspicious occasion is sent to God.
She was going to offer cards with her son.
With this faith, Usha Singh, along with her 15-year-old son Nagendra, set out on a bike to offer the first card at the Ramraja Sarkar temple in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh. The main reason for the accident was the poor condition of the village's railway underbridge. According to family members and villagers, the railway underbridge in Makarbai village is in very poor condition. Due to heavy truck traffic and the uneven road, it was impossible for two people to pass through it on a bike. Therefore, Usha Singh asked her son Nagendra to take the bike alone and she herself crossed the railway track on foot to reach the other side.
Unfortunately, as she was crossing the tracks, the speeding Jhansi-Banda MEMU train passed by. Usha Singh was struck by the train, tragically dying on the spot. The deceased's brother-in-law, Pintu Singh, and villager Surendrapal Singh said that the village's poor roads and underpasses are a common cause of accidents. The deceased left behind two sons, 18-year-old Manvendra and 15-year-old Nagendra, and a daughter, Sapna, in tears.
