She was immediately admitted and treatment began, but doctors declared her dead. The hospital administration claimed that Sita had committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor, but the family disagreed. CCTV footage examined by the police shows Sita leaving the ward at four in the morning.

Additionally, his slippers were seen falling, but no footage of his fall was captured. Based on this, the family accused hospital staff of pushing him to death. They say that a fall from such a height should have left blood stains, but none were found at the scene.

The family protested the incident and created a ruckus in the hospital premises for about seven hours. Banthra Inspector Rana Rajesh Singh arrived at the scene and attempted to pacify the family, but the family refused. Later, Krishnanagar ACP Rajneesh Verma arrived and assured action.

Based on a complaint filed by the deceased's husband, Akshat, the police have registered a murder case against the hospital's chairman, Bhagwan Prasad Yadav, administrative staff, principal, and night in-charge. Only after this did the family calm down and the body could be sent for post-mortem.

According to Krishnanagar ACP Rajneesh Verma, the exact cause of death will only be revealed after the post-mortem report is received. Currently, the police are investigating all aspects.
