News Topical, Digital Desk : Senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Deepar Mankar has requested the central government to include blood group in the Aadhaar card. He says that information related to the blood group of all citizens must be there in their Aadhaar card.

Deepak Mankar has raised this demand by writing a letter to the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Health. According to him, this decision of the government can save the lives of many people, especially during an emergency.

What is the reason?

Now the question is why did Deepak Mankar make this demand? For this, he has given the example of Ahmedabad plane crash and Operation Sindoor. Deepak Mankar says that on both these occasions a large number of people bled. We needed blood immediately to save people's lives. For this, blood donation camps were organized all over India.

Talking to news agency ANI, Deepak Mankar said-

In this hour of crisis, I realized that if people's blood groups were printed on their Aadhaar cards, they could have been helped quickly. Aadhaar cards are useful everywhere. With this, the blood group of people fighting for life and death can be easily determined.

What did Deepak Mankar say?

Deepak Mankar further said that people's lives are at risk in many disasters including road accidents. In such a situation, their treatment gets delayed due to not knowing the medical history and blood type. If the patient's blood type is known, the doctor will start treatment without delay and people's lives can be saved.

Recommendation to PM Modi

Deepak Mankar appealed to the Prime Minister and the Health Minister, saying, "Today Aadhaar has become necessary everywhere. Including blood group in it will be helpful for doctors, hospitals and all the citizens of the country."
