You will be surprised to know India's number

Let us tell you that Iceland has been on top since 2008. This shows how strong the stability and social system is in this country. On the other hand, if we talk about India, you will be shocked to know that this time also India has missed out on being included in the list of top 100 countries and India has got 115th position out of 163 countries. However, according to the report of Indian Express, India's GPI score has been recorded as 2.229, which has improved compared to last year.

Why did Iceland become the safest country?

In preparing the Global Peace Index, a list of 163 independent countries was made and their report was prepared. How was the evaluation done? Let us tell you that three major aspects - social security, domestic and international conflict and militarization - were taken as the basis for this. Iceland has scored the highest marks on all these criteria this year as well. According to experts, the lowest crime rate has kept it the safest country in the world. The Peace Index report shows that Europe remains the most peaceful region in the world and it dominates this list.

These are the most unsafe countries

In the Global Peace Index 2025 report, countries like Russia, Ukraine, Sudan, Congo and Yemen are at the bottom of the list of countries, where conflict and violence are constantly increasing.
