Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey starrer movie Aankhon Ki Gustakhiya is an adaptation of Ruskin Bond's short story The Eyes Have It. The story of the film is based on a blind musician and a theater artist. Without revealing their shortcomings, both of them go on a journey and fall in love with each other. The story depicts love, emotion and human connection.

When Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan was released in theatres, it seemed that it would earn average earnings, but it did not happen. It was one of the most unsuccessful films of this year. It earned only Rs 1.61 crore at the domestic box office. Whereas, the worldwide earnings were only Rs 2.35 crore.
