Kolkata. Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder Case: Politics has heated up after the rape and murder of a female junior doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The BJP on Tuesday accused the Mamata government of tampering with evidence and said that no woman is safe in West Bengal.

In fact, members of the student and youth wing of the CPI(M) accused the state government of tampering with evidence and staged a massive protest at the RG Kar MCH. In view of this, BJP IT cell chief and central observer of West Bengal Amit Malviya issued a statement on the issue.

The victim's body was found on the morning of August 9

According to protesters affiliated to the SFI and DYFI, they were informed that Public Works Department (PWD) workers had reached the fourth floor of the hospital to renovate a room adjoining the seminar hall, the same place where the victim’s body was found on the morning of August 9.

Malviya claimed that the area marked for resident doctors and the women's toilet inside the Chest Medicine department are being demolished in the name of renovation. Malviya has shared this information on X.

Mamta Banerjee was erasing the evidence

Malviya claimed in his statement that 'this leaves no doubt that Mamata Banerjee was destroying evidence to save those involved in this heinous crime. It is speculated that the accused are family members of influential TMC leaders.'

The walls of the room have been broken...

According to the BJP IT cell chief, there is anger in West Bengal due to Mamata Banerjee's apathy and Kolkata police's failed attempt to hush up the case. RG Kar Medical College authorities have broken the walls of the room inside the Chest Medicine Department where the junior doctor on duty was brutally raped and murdered, destroying crucial evidence that could have led the CBI investigation team to the killers. No woman is safe in Bengal.'
