According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the rain will continue in these states for the next few days. It is raining intermittently in many districts of Delhi-NCR and Haryana. Due to this, people are facing humid heat.
Rain alert on Saturday and Sunday
The national capital and adjoining areas will remain overcast on Friday. The maximum temperature is expected to be 34.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum is 27.5 degrees Celsius. Rain is expected in Delhi-NCR on Saturday and Sunday.
Rain alert in many districts of UP
Monsoon is at its peak in Uttar Pradesh. Heavy rain alert has been issued in many districts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Temperatures have dropped below 30 degrees in cities like Lucknow, Barabanki, Gorakhpur and Bahraich. Rain activities are also likely to increase in western UP in the next two days. Meteorologists have warned of rain accompanied by winds at a speed of 30-40 km/hr and thunderstorms.

Monsoon has gained momentum in Bihar. Heavy rains have been recorded in districts like Banka, Bhagalpur, Purnia and Katihar. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rains till Saturday (August 9), due to which flood-like conditions may arise. The temperature will remain between 30-34 degrees Celsius, but humid heat may bother due to high humidity (70-80%).
Chances of drizzle in Haryana
Light rain is expected in many parts of Haryana on Saturday and Sunday. Areas like Manesar, Jhajjar, Rewari and Nuh in Haryana may receive drizzle accompanied by winds at a speed of 30-40 km/hr. The temperature will remain between 32-35 degrees Celsius. Dust storms can also be seen in some areas.
Danger of landslides in Uttarakhand and Himachal
It is raining heavily in Uttarakhand and Himachal. Heavy rain alert has been issued in many districts of Uttarakhand. There is a danger of landslides due to rain. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in Uttarakhand and Himachal in the next 48 hours.
