News Topical, Digital Desk : Following the blast in front of the Red Fort, all of Delhi is on high alert. Investigation agencies have been on the scene since last night. After several hours of investigation, it has become clear that the car bomb explosion at the Red Fort was a terrorist attack, killing nine people. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also issued a warning regarding the attack.

Rajnath Singh said that those who conspired to carry out the bombings will not be spared at any cost. They will face the harshest punishment.

What did the Defense Minister say?

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, “This blast is being investigated. Whatever is revealed in the investigation will be placed before the people. I want to assure the country that whoever is responsible for this attack will not be spared at any cost.”

The Defence Minister expressed grief over the incident while paying tribute to the deceased during a speech at a defence conclave. He said:

“I express my heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives in this incident. I pray to God to give strength to the families of the victims in this hour of grief.”

Delhi Police called it a terrorist attack

The explosion near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station has sent shockwaves throughout the capital. The Delhi Police have officially confirmed that the car bomb explosion in front of the Red Fort was a terrorist incident.

The investigation into the Delhi bombings has begun. The government is now considering whether the National Investigation Agency (NIA) or the Special Cell will investigate the attack. The case will be handed over to which agency by this evening.
