News Topical, Digital Desk : Two people riding a motorcycle from the Bithoor police station area died in a highway accident in Shivrajpur on Thursday morning. Two children were also seriously injured. Police say the accident occurred when a heavy vehicle struck the motorcycle.

45-year-old Vinod Nishad, son of late Mohanlal, a resident of Bakarganj in Bithoor, had gone to Bilhore on a bike with his 10-year-old daughter Diksha and relative's son Piyush for some work.

On Thursday morning, at 6 a.m., he was returning to Bithoor on a bike with his family member, 54-year-old Ramnarayan, son of Kunjilal Nishad, and their children. Near Shivrajpur Dubiana village, the bike was hit from behind by a vehicle. Vinod, Ramnarayan, and their two children were seriously injured in the accident.

The bike riders were not wearing helmets

The bike riders were not wearing helmets. Police arrived at the scene and sent everyone to the CHC in a highway ambulance. Vinod and Ramnarayan died before they could be treated.

Police have sent both children to a private hospital in Mandhana. Station House Officer Amit Singh said the exact cause of the accident is unknown. It appears the bike was hit by a vehicle. Four people were riding on one bike.
