Recently, social media users felt that R Madhavan was a little unhappy with his character being overshadowed and Akshay's name being mentioned all the time, which Madhavan was asked about. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, R Madhavan said, “Not at all, in fact, I couldn't be happier for Akshay. He deserves all the appreciation he's getting.”
Praising Akshay, Madhavan called him a talented and grounded star and said, “He could have easily given millions of interviews if he wanted to, but he is sitting in his new house and enjoying the peace, which he always does.”
I felt I was the underdog – Madhavan
R Madhavan further said, “I felt like I was the underdog in 'Dhurandhar' when it came to public attention, but Akshaye Khanna is on a different level. It doesn't matter to him, be it success or failure, everything is the same for him.”
R. Madhavan also clarified before leaving that neither Akshay nor Aditya Dhar are interested in taking credit for the film's success. It's worth noting that the film has been banned in six Gulf countries, but this hasn't affected its earnings.
