
Chhattisgarh News: On the occasion of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary, another guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to be fulfilled in Chhattisgarh. Other digital services including cash payments will be started in 1460 gram panchayats of the state from April 24, Panchayat Diwas.
In the presence of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, an MoU was signed for "Atal Panchayat Digital Suvidha Kendra" in 10-10 gram panchayats of each development block of the state. In these siddhi kendras, villagers will now be able to avail many facilities under one roof. They will be able to easily withdraw money from their account, send money from their account to someone else's account, pay electricity-water bills, and avail many facilities like pension-insurance in their panchayats itself.
An MoU was signed today between the service providers of Common Service Centre and Sarpanchs for Atal Panchayat Digital Suvidha Kendra. This program was organized in all the district headquarters of the state. With the opening of these Suvidha Kendras, villagers will not have to go to the block and district headquarters for small tasks. They will be able to avail many facilities in the village itself.

CM Vishnudev Sai, while addressing the program organized in the district headquarters through video conferencing from his residential office, said, "Today is a historic day for Chhattisgarh. We are going to fulfill another guarantee of Modi's guarantee. During the assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised the people of Chhattisgarh to start the facility of cash payment in Gram Panchayats, which is now going to be fulfilled."
'Most of PM Modi's guarantees fulfilled'
He said, "We have fulfilled most of the promises of PM Modi's guarantee in just one and a quarter years. Whether it is buying paddy for farmers at Rs 3100 or paddy bonus of the last two years, Mahtari Vandan Yojana for women, Ramlala Darshan for the elderly, restart of Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana, or the promise of giving Rs 10,000 annually to 5 lakh 62 thousand agricultural laborers, all were fulfilled."
Chief Minister Sai said that from these facility centers being started in the Gram Panchayats, farmers will be able to receive payment for paddy, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, pension and other schemes, and will also be able to avail other facilities including birth-death certificate.
'Houses given to the poor'
CM Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's dream is that everyone should have a permanent house. During the tenure of the previous government, 18 lakh beneficiaries were deprived of housing. On the second day of taking oath, we approved 18 lakh houses in the cabinet meeting. So far we have received 14 lakh houses from the Center.
