News Topical, Digital Desk : A tragic road accident occurred on Thursday night around 11 p.m. near the Mohani petrol pump on the Mau-Khandeha road. A bug suddenly got into the rider's eye, causing the bike to lose control and collide with an oncoming tractor. One young man died in the accident, while his companion was seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.
The injured said that he and three other companions had set out on two bikes to search for Farhad's missing daughter. The injured Rameshwar, a 33-year-old resident of Chivalha, said that he had set out on two bikes with fellow villagers Pintu alias Mangal, Balram, and Farhad. Balram and Farhad went ahead on one bike, while Rameshwar and Pintu followed behind on the other.
Near Chakva, the bike that had spun ahead became detached, after which Rameshwar and Pintu were returning home. Meanwhile, near the Mohani petrol pump, the rider suddenly felt a bug in his eye, causing the bike to lose control and collide with an oncoming tractor. The impact was so severe that Rameshwar was thrown about 50 meters off the road and suffered serious injuries, including to his head.
The injured was taken to the Community Health Center in Mau, from where he was referred to the district hospital. Pintu, also known as Mangal, died on the spot. The deceased worked as a mason in the village. His father, Indrapal, is a farmer. The deceased has two sons, Ashish and Aditya, and a daughter, Kusma. The incident has caused a great deal of distress in the family.

Mau police station in-charge Shriprakash Yadav said that one person died in the collision between a bike and a tractor. The bike rider was not wearing a helmet. An investigation is underway to determine where they were going.
