Uttarakhand Weather: Most areas of Uttarakhand are partly cloudy, but the heavy rain has slowed down. However, the process of heavy rain continues in Dehradun.

There are one or two rounds of heavy rain every day. Due to this, the temperature has dropped below normal for the first time this month. The mercury in Doon is around 28 degrees Celsius which is two degrees Celsius less than normal.

Somewhere orange and somewhere yellow alert

Even today, there is no possibility of change in the weather in the state. According to the Meteorological Center, an orange alert has been issued today for heavy to very heavy rainfall and lightning along with thunder in Chamoli, Udham Singh Nagar and Bageshwar districts.

Whereas, there is a yellow alert regarding heavy rainfall at some places in Dehradun, Pithoragarh, Nainital, Champawat and Uttarkashi districts.

Suswa water level is rising suddenly due to rain, tractor-trolley stuck

Doiwala: Due to rain, the water level of the Suswa river is suddenly increasing. Due to which people living near the river need to be cautious. At the same time, it is very important for the people going to their fields and other destinations through the river to be cautious in this matter.

Due to the sudden rain on Wednesday, school children had to face trouble during school hours. Apart from this, due to the sudden rise in the water level of the Suswa river, a tractor trolley carrying fodder for animals from its fields got stuck in the strong current of the Suswa river between Khatta Pani of Dudhli - Barkali on Tuesday evening. It was pulled with great difficulty with the help of a Pokeland machine that was parked on the banks of the river for rescue during the disaster.

Otherwise any accident could have happened. In view of the weather, the administration has appealed to the people living near the rivers to be cautious. Sub-district magistrate Aparna Dhoundiyal said that despite no rain at some places in Doiwala area, the water level of Suswa river suddenly increases due to rain in Dehradun city and hilly areas. Therefore, people need to be cautious.

Also, people living near rivers should move to safer places so that there is no loss of life. They should immediately inform the control room for the help of the administration.
