News Topical, Digital Desk : A shocking incident has come to light from Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand where a young man who had gone to Russia to study engineering was forcibly made a soldier by some officials there and sent to the Russia-Ukraine war.

Even modern weapons have been given to the youth. A video of the youth is going viral on social media. Through the video, the youth has appealed for help from his family and the Indian government.

Here is the whole matter 

According to the information that has come out so far, Rakesh Maurya, son of Raj Bahadur Maurya, originally a resident of Badaun Dataganj in Uttar Pradesh, currently a resident of Shakti Farm in Sitarganj tehsil of Udham Singh Nagar district, had gone to Russia on a student visa on August 7, after which he was pursuing engineering at St. Pittsburgh University, but after 10 days, he suddenly lost contact with his family.

Not only this, recently Rakesh's family received a call from an unknown number in which they were told that Russian military officials had confiscated his passport and documents and he was given military training in two bus areas of Ukraine. 

After this, he was sent to the war front. A video of Rakesh is going viral on social media in which he is seen expressing his pain while wearing the uniform of a Russian soldier and equipped with modern weapons.

The student narrated his ordeal by releasing a video

In this video, Rakesh says that the Russian administration has forcibly sent him to war with Ukraine as a soldier, the video of which went viral and created a stir in the entire area. While talking to ABP Live, Rakesh's father Raj and mother Soni told that they had talked to Rakesh on August 30, when Rakesh was working in Himachal. During this, Rakesh told them that he would come and get married after 3 months, but then they got the information that Rakesh was a soldier in Russia, after which the entire family is worried.

Rakesh's father told that his son works online and in connection with this he keeps travelling to places like Himachal and Shimla. He has no information about when he reached Ras. He told that Rakesh is the eldest of three brothers, while one of Rakesh's brothers works in Bengaluru while the other brother is preparing for B.Tech.

The family made this demand from the government

Rakesh's family has demanded to bring him back to India from Russia. Rakesh studied well from class 1 to 5, after which he took the intermediate examination from class 6 in Shakti Farm College. After completing B.Sc. from Khatima College, Rakesh left for Haldwani to study.

After this, he used to do online job. Even his family members do not know when he went abroad. They came to know about this after receiving Rakesh's video. Rakesh's family members and Rakesh's fiancée have appealed to the Indian government to bring Rakesh to India as soon as possible.
