New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a program organized in Lucknow on Partition Horrors Day- the country has been pushed towards the tragedy of partition for political gain. Congress, in its greed for power, gave India such a sore that is still stinging us in the form of terrorism.
Along with this, he said- 'What happened in 1947 is happening in Bangladesh and Pakistan today. Sisters and daughters are being tortured. But due to political selfishness, some people in India are keeping silent on it.'
CM Yogi said on Bangladesh violence
The Chief Minister said- What happened in 1947 is happening in Pakistan today, the same is happening in Bangladesh. At that time 10 lakh Hindus and Sikhs were killed together. Even today the same arson, looting, atrocities on sisters and daughters are happening. The same kind of tragedy is being seen even today. One and a half crore Hindus are trying to save their existence by shouting inside Bangladesh.
Opposition targets CM Yogi
Targeting the opposition, the Chief Minister said- Today the secular people in India are silent. Because they fear that if they raise their voice in favour of the weaker sections, their vote bank will slip away. They are worried about their vote bank but their human sensitivity is dead.
The head of the state said, 'Our resolve is that as Warsi Arvind had declared before 1947, Pakistan has no reality in the spiritual world and it will either merge with India or will be destroyed forever.'
CM Yogi posted on social media- 'This was not just the division of the country, but the division of humanity, due to this inhuman decision, countless innocent citizens had to lose their lives, had to bear the pain of displacement, had to endure torture. Humble tribute to all the innocent citizens who sacrificed their lives in this inhuman tragedy today on 'Partition Horrors Memorial Day'!
