Lucknow. Yogi Government Digital Media Policy: The Yogi Cabinet has approved the digital media policy of Uttar Pradesh in the meeting on Tuesday. Now the opposition has started a round of allegations and counter-allegations regarding this. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has taunted the UP Chief Minister today i.e. on Wednesday regarding the decision to approve this policy. 

Owaisi's taunt on digital policy

Owaisi posted on X and said, 'The state's digital media policy has been approved. To cover up his failures, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a new scheme. Under the scheme, one can earn up to Rs 8 lakh by falsely praising Baba on social media. If you even legally oppose Baba or his party, you will be declared anti-national and sent to jail. Now the IT Cell people will run their houses with your tax money.'

Yogi cabinet approves digital media policy

Let us tell you that the Yogi cabinet has approved the digital media policy of the state. Proposals regarding this policy (UP Digital Media Policy) were presented in the cabinet meeting last Tuesday.

According to the proposal, arrangements have been made to give advertisements to broadcast content related to the government's schemes and achievements on internet media platforms X, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

The account holders of these internet media platforms will be divided into four categories on the basis of subscribers and followers. The government will list them and give advertisements. According to the policy, account holders and influencers of X, Facebook and Instagram will be given five, four, three and two lakh rupees per month according to the four categories.
