Ghaziabad: A B.Tech student committed suicide by jumping off the Namo Bharat train station in Muradnagar. The student had left the hostel telling his friends that he was going home. Vinod Kumar's son Keshav (20), a resident of Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, Haryana, was pursuing B.Tech in CS from SRM Institute.

Keshav was living in a hostel in the college campus. On Saturday afternoon, Keshav left the hostel telling his friends that he was going home. At around 3:30, the student reached Muradnagar station and bought a ticket for Ghaziabad for Rs 40.

People gathered on the spot

After buying the ticket, the student reached the platform by escalators. After roaming around for about five minutes, the student reached the corner of the platform and jumped down. As soon as the student jumped down, people gathered and he was taken to CHC, where doctors declared him dead.

Meanwhile, due to the crowd gathering at the spot, there was a traffic jam for some time. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and got the jam cleared. The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The police has also informed the student's relatives. Acting ACP Saloni Agarwal says that the CCTV footage is being examined.

Made a video on mobile and committed suicide by hanging

On the other hand, a person living in Balraj Nagar in Sonipat committed suicide by hanging himself in his house. Before committing suicide, he made a video on his mobile, in which he said that my wife and her relatives ruined me, took away everything of mine, due to which I am giving up my life. A case was registered in the city police station Gohana on the complaint of the deceased's mother. Bijendra, who lived in Balraj Nagar, had married Suman for love. Suman already has two children.
