Sanjeev Gupta, a resident of Preet Vihar Colony in the Majhola police station area of ​​Moradabad, along with his wife Durga Gupta and five-year-old daughter Purvi, were going on a scooter to collect Ganga water from Brajghat at around three o'clock on Saturday night.

The couple and their daughter were riding a scooty on a road where the traffic is one-way. The road meant for Kanwariyas is the one going from Delhi to Moradabad. When these people reached in front of Kundan Restaurant on the highway in Gajraula, a car coming from the front hit them. The couple died on the spot in the accident. The daughter was seriously injured.

The bodies of the couple were sent to the mortuary

After the accident, a large crowd gathered at the spot and the police also arrived shortly after. The bodies of the couple were taken from the spot and sent directly to the mortuary and then the injured girl was admitted to TMU. It is said that Sanjeev Gupta was a supervisor in a private company in Moradabad. He also has a son Priyanshu.

Inspector in-charge Harish Vardhan Singh said that the couple riding the scooter was walking on a one-way traffic line. The car that hit them has been caught by the police.
