News Topical, Digital Desk : The weather in Uttar Pradesh has completely changed ahead of the Holi festival. A mild chill prevails in the morning and evening, but as the day progresses, temperatures are rising due to the sunshine. It's becoming warmer during the day. There's no forecast of rain in the coming days. Dry weather is predicted for the state today as well. 

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in both the western and eastern divisions of Uttar Pradesh today. There will be no cloud cover or light rain. A mild chill will prevail in the morning and evening, but the intense sunlight will become a nuisance during the day. All 75 districts of the state will remain in the green zone today. The weather will remain dry across the state on February 25th and 26th as well. 

Temperature started rising in UP, sunshine caused trouble

Sunshine has caused temperatures to rise in Uttar Pradesh. This year, summer has arrived in February. In the past 24 hours, Varanasi recorded the highest temperature of 31.5 degrees Celsius. Similarly, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, and Mathura districts recorded temperatures 3-5 degrees above normal. Temperatures in Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi, and Meerut divisions are also rising above normal. 

Summer heat hits before Holi

According to the Meteorological Department, the heat will gradually increase. There will be no change in temperatures over the next 48 hours, but after that, the maximum temperature will gradually increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius. The sky has been clear in the capital Lucknow since this morning. The sun will shine during the day, making it feel warmer. The maximum temperature in Lucknow is expected to be 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 14 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Noida may also exceed 30 degrees Celsius today. Similar weather is expected in Ghaziabad.
