UP Rain Alert : This time, monsoon rains were heavy in 13 districts of UP. 16 districts including Lucknow, Kanpur, Rae Bareli, Unnao were yearning for rain. People in these districts are waiting for good rain. Meanwhile, new information has come out about monsoon. Meteorologists say that monsoon is slowly moving towards all the districts. There is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts including Mathura, Agra, Firozabad, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Pratapgarh and Etawah. At the same time, light rain may occur in many districts including Bijnor, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Ghaziabad, Noida, Saharanpur, Bulandshahar and Muzaffarnagar. 

In 16 districts including Lucknow, Kanpur, Raebareli, Unnao, there was good rain only for 12 to 13 days during 54 days. From June 1 to July 24, the rainfall in these districts decreased by 40 to 60 percent. The reason for this is the shifting of the main stream of monsoon winds from UP. According to senior scientist Atul Singh, wherever the monsoon trough line passes, there is a lot of rain around it. When the trough line was passing over UP, many districts received good rain. After this, this trough line shifted towards Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh. In such a situation, apart from MP, there was a lot of rain in the districts of Rajasthan and the adjoining Gujarat.

Trough line is returning.

According to the Meteorological Department, the trough line is slowly moving towards UP. Due to this, the rain has started again since the last two days. When it comes over UP, there will be heavier than normal rain in many districts.
