
News Topical, Digital Desk : A very disturbing incident has come to light in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, where a pregnant girl, allegedly under pressure of an illicit relationship, abandoned her five-month-old foetus on the roadside and fled from there. This girl had come with a woman on an e-rickshaw. The police have started investigating this case.
According to police officials, this incident is said to have happened on Friday afternoon. According to the information, it happened near Shyam Nursing Home located on Gyanpur-Gopiganj Road in Gopiganj police station area of Bhadohi, where this foetus was found behind the house located next to the nursing home.
The girl had come with the woman in an e-rickshaw
Inspector-in-charge of Gopiganj police station Shailesh Kumar Rai said that on Friday around 1 pm, a girl came with a woman in an e-rickshaw. The girl's age is said to be around 17-18 years. Then suddenly the e-rickshaw stopped on the roadside and both of them went behind a house.
After about an hour, both of them came back from behind the house and left in an e-rickshaw. According to the police, during this time they threw away the five-month-old fetus there and left. Some people present there became suspicious of them, after which they went behind the house and looked. Then they found a five-month-old fetus.
She fled after throwing the foetus behind the house
They immediately informed the local police station about this, after which the police team reached the spot and recovered the fetus, sealed it and sent it for investigation. It is suspected that the girl consumed medicine to avoid giving birth to an unwanted child.
The police officer said that no information has been found about where the girl and the woman came from and where they went. The e-rickshaw in which they came is also being searched. The police is also questioning the people nearby in this case and CCTV footage is also being scanned so that some kind of clue can be found.
