News Topical, Digital Desk : Ahead of the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, claims were circulating that the Bahujan Samaj Party might form an alliance with a party. The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), headed by Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, was the first name in the race. Now, former Chief Minister and BSP supremo Mayawati has clarified the situation.

Bahujan Samaj Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has said that as the Uttar Pradesh elections approach, those opposed to us will make even greater efforts to keep us from power and conspire against us. All Ambedkarites, not just in Uttar Pradesh but across the country, should continue working to strengthen Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's movement for self-respect.

The former CM said, "You all know that amidst the selfish claims that AI is a key to success, there is another discussion in the media that the BSP will contest the 2027 assembly elections in alliance, which is completely false. This is fake news. The media should avoid such reports."

In a press conference, Mayawati said, "We have already announced that we will contest the assembly elections alone, but some people and the media are engaging in a nefarious conspiracy to tarnish our image. This is an anti-BSP agenda. People should not pay attention to such reports. The Congress, SP, and BJP have a narrow mindset and are against Baba Saheb."

Why did Mayawati refuse the alliance?

She said that forming an alliance with them harms the BSP. BSP members are determined to contest the elections alone. Like in 2007, the BSP will contest the elections alone and win. On the question of the BSP supremo receiving a Type 8 bungalow for security reasons, Mayawati said that when she received it, false news was spread as part of a conspiracy to further her agenda. Now, she has received a Type 8 bungalow for security reasons, which she has accepted.

He alleged that he was attacked in a guest house on June 2, 1995, at the behest of the SP government and its supremo. The next day, he was provided security and safe accommodation by the Indian government. However, even after so much time, the security threat remains significant. Previously, he was only provided with a Type 8 bungalow. As the elections approach, the opposition will increase its tactics to keep the BSP out of power.
