Congress state president Ajay Rai, while talking to ABP Live, said that regarding the Uttar Pradesh elections, Ajay Rai clearly said that just as the elections were fought in 2022 under the leadership of Priyanka Gandhi (Wayanad MP), we will fight the elections in 2027 also under her leadership.

How will Congress distribute tickets in UP?

Rai also claimed to have fielded a greater number of women candidates in ticket distribution. He said that in 2022, we had fielded women candidates in four of the eight assembly seats in Varanasi.

UPCC Chief said that we had decided on 40% participation of women and this time also we will give opportunity to maximum number of women in the elections of Uttar Pradesh.
