However, he also said he could change his mind. Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte discussed the idea of ​​Tomahawk missiles during their meeting at the White House on October 22. Rutte said on Friday that the issue was under consideration and that the decision was up to the US.

Russian forces advance into the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk

Russia said on Monday that its troops were advancing on the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk, a transport and logistics hub that Moscow's forces have been trying to capture for more than a year. The Russian Defense Ministry said its troops were destroying encircled Ukrainian positions near Pokrovsk's railway station and industrial zone and had entered the city's Prigorodny district. Ukraine said its troops remained in Pokrovsk, although the situation remained difficult.
