Hamas ready for talks

Hamas has decided after talks with other Palestinian factions that it wants to negotiate a ceasefire proposal. Hamas's ally Islamic Jihad has also supported the talks, but on the condition that Israel guarantees that attacks will not resume after the release of the hostages.

The last two ceasefires, brokered by Qatar, Egypt and the US, temporarily halted fighting in exchange for hostage and prisoner exchanges.

 

Israel attacked in Gaza

Let us tell you, the Israeli army attacked many areas of Gaza. These include areas like Gaza City, Khan Younis and Rafah. Gaza's civil defense chief Mohammad al-Mughaiyyir said that at least 52 people were killed in these attacks on Friday.

According to the report, people waiting near US aid centers in areas such as Rafah and the Wadi Gaza Bridge were also fired upon. The United Nations has warned that Gaza is on the verge of famine and the situation is constantly deteriorating.

 

Proposal for 60 days ceasefire

The US-backed ceasefire proposal states that during the 60-day ceasefire, Hamas will release about half of its surviving Israeli hostages and in return Israel will release Palestinian prisoners. Currently, 49 hostages are in Gaza, of which the Israeli army has confirmed the death of 27.
