The bill was placed in the lower house for initial debate, where 213 out of 219 votes were cast in favour of the bill. This means that Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill' has moved one step closer to becoming a law. The final voting on this bill is yet to take place in the US Senate. After that, the bill will go to the President.
