
News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump was unexpectedly seen walking on the roof of the West Wing of the White House on Tuesday. He surveyed the roof and the grounds below for about 20 minutes.
During the walk, the reporters standing on the ground below asked, "Sir, why are you on the roof?" Trump replied, "I am taking a short walk, it is good for health."
Trump was accompanied by several people, including James McCrory, the architect of the $200 million ballroom project. During this time, Trump was repeatedly pointing to the ceiling and the ground. At times, he was also answering questions of reporters while walking to the nearest corner.

The unexpected rooftop outing comes as Trump seeks to leave a lasting mark on the space known as the People's House. He has substantially redecorated the Oval Office with golden decorations, cherubs, photos of the president and other items and installed giant flagpoles on the North and South Lawns so the U.S. flag can be flown.
Last week, the Trump administration announced that construction on the massive ballroom would begin in September and be ready in early 2029, before Trump's term ends.

The Trump administration on Tuesday formally ended a program started by billionaire former Trump adviser Elon Musk that required federal employees to submit a summary of their five workplace accomplishments from the past week.
The Office of Personnel Management, the federal human resources agency that implemented Musk's effort to cut the federal workforce, announced the termination of the Five Things email in a memo.
