
US President Donald Trump has once again taken a U-turn on tariffs. He said that no country was given any exemption in unfair trade balance. No tariff exemption was announced on Friday. No exemption was given to China
Trump wrote on his social media that no country has been exempted from unfair trade balance and non-monetary tariff barriers against us. Especially not China, which has been treating us the worst till now. Trump further said that no tariff exemption was announced on Friday.

Separate tariff will be levied on electronic products
Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller wrote on X that all these products are subject to the original 20 percent tariff imposed on China. In fact, Trump first imposed a 20 percent tariff on China, Mexico and Canada due to illegal fentanyl smuggling. Stephen is talking about this tariff. Meanwhile, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said that a separate tariff for electronic products will be announced soon.
New tariff will be announced in two months
After the Customs Department, on Friday the White House confirmed the exclusion of electronic products from the reciprocal tariff. Trump's Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick also said that separate new tariffs would be imposed on important technology products coming from China along with semiconductors within the next two months. This announcement on Friday was seen as a big relief for companies like Apple and Dell. In fact, these companies are dependent on equipment imported from China.
China took a jibe
China said that the exemption given to Chinese technology products in the US is being evaluated. Meanwhile, China's Commerce Ministry also took a jibe and said that the bell tied on the tiger's neck can only be opened by the person who tied it.
