Released in 2023, Animal made Tripti Dimri a national crush overnight. Afterward, she landed several big films. Now, Tripti explains why she was confused after signing the film. However, after its release, her life took a major turn.

I was confused after signing Animal

In fact, Tripti's role in the movie Animal was very small. She had only been in films for a few minutes. After the popularity she had gained from Laila Majnu, playing such a small role in a film was challenging. In an interview with Filmfare, the actress said, “I thought Laila Majnu would bring me recognition, but it was Animal that really landed. I thought it was a small role, so what could I possibly achieve?”

Tripti Dimri further said, “But director Sandeep (Reddy Vanga) sir had full faith in me. He said that this film would prove to be very good for me and whatever he said, happened. This is a huge blessing for me and I got a lot of love. I am happy that because of Animal, people also watched my old films Bulbul, Kaala and Laila Majnu.”

Tripti Dimri recently appeared in Dhadak 2 alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, for which she received critical acclaim. She will next be seen opposite Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit. Deepika Padukone was originally slated to play the lead role in this film. She also has a film titled O Romeo.
