
News Topical, Digital Desk : MP News: The Madhya Pradesh government is considering discouraging the production of toys made for children in the state that promote aggression and violent tendencies. Instead, a plan is being made to give priority to the production of toys that promote creativity, cooperation and positive thinking. This important information was given by Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department Chetan Kashyap.
A meeting of the advisory committee of the MSME department was held in the capital Bhopal. During the meeting, former minister Om Prakash Sakhlecha raised this issue and said that at present a large number of such toys are available in the market which are giving rise to violent tendencies in children. He said that through toys, the attraction towards weapons and aggression is increasing in the minds of children, which can prove fatal for the society in the long run. Therefore, control over them is necessary.
'Industry should be given a new direction'
Supporting Sakhlecha's suggestion, Minister of State Chetan Kashyap told the officials that the toy industry of the state should be given a new direction. He said that toys play an important role in making the mindset of children positive, so industries will be made aware in this direction and they will be motivated to manufacture positive toys.

Kashyap also informed in the meeting that to strengthen the MSME sector, the state government is working on providing facilities like Common Facilitation Centre to various clusters. He informed that in the last financial year, the department had received a budget of Rs 700 crore, while with the support of the Chief Minister, this year it has increased to Rs 2100 crore. This has made it possible to pay all the pending liabilities of grant assistance and industries have got relief.
