The four were produced before the Patiala House Court and remanded them to 10-day NIA custody. The four accused were taken into custody by the NIA in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, on a production order issued by the District Sessions Judge, Patiala House Court.

The accused have been identified as Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai of Pulwama, Dr. Adeel Ahmed Rather of Anantnag, Dr. Shaheen Saeed of Lucknow, and Mufti Irfan Ahmed Wagay of Shopian. All of them played key roles in the terror attack that killed several innocent people and injured many others.

Two accused have already been arrested

Aamir Rashid Ali was the first to be arrested in the Delhi blast case. Subsequently, Jaseer Bilal Wani, alias Danish, from Kashmir, was also arrested. Both of them had assisted the suicide bomber, Umar Un Nabi. Now, police have arrested four other individuals who helped Umar carry out the terrorist attack.

Terrorists were planning a major attack around December 6.

The terrorists were plotting a major attack around December 6th, the date of the Babri Masjid's demolition in 1992. The terrorists had planned a massive blast. However, Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested Dr. Adil from Saharanpur. He was seen putting up posters threatening security forces in Srinagar. Following Adil's information, Dr. Muzammil and Shaheen were arrested. A large quantity of weapons and 2,900 kg of explosives were later recovered from Faridabad. This frightened Umar Nabi and he launched an attack prematurely, killing several people. However, the terrorists failed to achieve their objective. Several other individuals associated with this module have been arrested. The NIA investigation is ongoing, and many more may be arrested in the coming days.
