He subsequently made his mark in English cinema with back-to-back hits. He achieved significant success with successful movie franchises like Mission: Impossible, Top Gun, and Jack Reacher.

Now, after a five-decade wait, Tom Cruise has finally reaped the rewards of his hard work with an Honorary Oscar win. This award is also deeply significant for Tom personally, as he has raised the bar for action films in Hollywood, a feat that is celebrated worldwide. 

Tom Cruise is well known for risking his life while performing dangerous stunts. Now, Tom Cruise will also be named as an Academy Honorary Award winner. Now, Tom has achieved another significant accolade in his list of international awards. Previously, he has  won three Golden Globe Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a  BAFTA Award. 

These celebrities received Honorary Oscar Awards

Not only Tom Cruise, but three other celebrities from the Hollywood film industry were also announced to receive the Honorary Oscar Award late last night, among whom  music icon Dolly Parton, production designer Win Thomas and choreographer Debbie Allen will also be honored with this special honor.
